My server requires that my first page must be named index.htm. I read a previous post with the same problen but I was not as fortunate as that person because I don't know how, where, or what to do to accomphish this. I go to "file to be loaded" select awesome2.www and it does not give me the option to open this file. What am I doing wrong? I have an iMac G3.
    Thank you

Do I understand correctly that you've created an HTML file on your Mac and named it "awesome2.www"? I would recommend renaming it (on your Mac) to index.htm.

Then you'll want to upload it to your web server. I'd recommend running Fetch and pressing the "Help" button in the New Connection window that appears. One of the topics in Fetch Help is "Uploading Web Pages"; it's a tutorial that will walk you through the process step by step.

    Thanks,

Thank you for your help. Here is my situation. I receive info from my hosting Co. that says" To publish your website to your server...you need uploading software...your server name is awesomebuys2.com, upload directory is awesome2-www, user name is ****password is ****. Your home hage must be placed in the UPLOAD DIRECTORY and must be named"index.htm". So I download Fetch, enter host, user ID, password. When the files show yo, I go to REMOTE, PUT FOLDERS & FILES...Then folders & files to upload. I select awesome2-www, ADD, DONE, FORMAT AUTOMATIC, OK. Then I go to my upload page & my options are, create directory, create file & then browse. Do I create a new directory & new file?

Sorry to have supplied so much information but I am totally lost and I need some help soon.
    Thank you.

Is the thing on your Mac named "awesome-www" (the thing that you select and press "Add") a file or a folder?
