    In the Get Info window (of Fetch) the time is displayed with am/pm time notation, while time format is specified to be 24 hour notation in OS X system preferences (in the international panel). I would like to see Fetch honouring the system settings.

    Hi,

    On my computer, Fetch 5.2 on Mac OS X 10.4.8 does honor the system settings for the date and time format in the Get Info window.

    What version of Fetch are you using, and what version of Mac OS X?

    Thanks,

    Sorry for the late reply. I am using Fetch version 5.2 on Mac OS X 10.4.8. In the international preference panel I have a custom setting for the region. (using English notation for numbers but a 24 hour clock.)

    Hi,

    Following your description, I have been able to make this happen temporarily if I change the time format while Fetch is running, but the problem fixes itself if I quit and re-open Fetch. That is a small bug in Fetch, but I assume you've tried quitting and re-opening Fetch.

    If you are willing to re-do your customized date and time settings, could you please try the following?

    * Quit Fetch.
    * Open the International preferences panel.
    * Click the Formats tab.
    * Choose "United States" from the "Region" pop-up menu.
    * Re-do your customizations to the time format.
    * Close the International preferences panel.
    * Open Fetch.
    * Connect to your server.
    * Get Info on an item. Do you still see the problem?

    If that does not fix the problem, then perhaps I haven't been duplicating how you're changing to 24-hour time format correctly. Could you describe exactly the steps you take to change to 24-hour time?

    (Here's how I've been setting 24-hour time: Click on the Customize button in the Times section of the panel, then click in the "hours" oval, which displays a triangle, click on the triangle to display a pop-up menu, choose "00-23" from the pop-up menu, delete the "PM" oval, and clicking OK.)

    If we can figure out what's going on, we will try to fix it.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

    I have now duplicated this behavior, although it seems intermittent.

    Following the steps above may fix the problem for you, so please give them a try.

    But they may not, and I have filed a bug in our database about this, and we'll look into it.

    Thanks,
