    Hi Mark,

This problem is usually caused by a problem on the server end. Since there can be lots of causes for such a problem, there isn't a a single answer that will work for everyone.

Thanks for posting the transcript, but it looks like you didn't try to connect first (the transcript doesn't show an attempt). Could you try to connect, and then post the transcript?

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews

    Thanks for the quick reply,

As far as the server end is concerned, I can access it no problem from my computer down the hall.

After I click away the error, I click on transcripts and that's all I get.

Fetch 5.3.1 (5D226) Intel running on Mac OS X 10.7.4 (11E53) Intel English
StuffIt Engine 0x820, StuffIt SDK Version 10.1.1b1

Thanks for working with me on this

It sounds like you're getting an error even before you try to connect.

The first thing I'd suggest is running Fetch 5.7.1, the latest version, which you can download from http://fetchsoftworks.com . You can run it in trial mode free of charge for 15 days.

If you still get the error, follow these steps:

    1) Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu
    2) Choose "Show Fetch.log in Finder" from the File menu
    3) Email the file to bugs@fetchsoftworks.com

I'll see what I can figure out.

    Thanks,
