After Stuffit update Fetch goes weird (2 posts)

After having upgraded to the latest version of stuffit expander, I suddenly can't upload files anymore.

When I choose a file for uploading I get either "Stuffit engine error 17516" or "OSX error 17516".

After clicking OK, Fetch starts uploading - but in stead of uploading the file, it uploads the whole directory as an extensionless binary file.

    Help?

Could you send some information about this problem to bugs at fetchsoftworks dot com? First, choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and mail the contents after you see the StuffIt error. Then send your system.log file; to find it, choose "Go to Folder" from the Remote menu in the Finder and type "/var/log" (without the quotes), and look for a file named system.log. That information should help us figure out what is going on.

    Thanks,
