I have a simple applescript for launching fetch and then have it change directories until it gets to a specific folder. that's all fine - sort of. see the problem is in the very beginning. when fetch activates and the connection window launches i have to click "cancel" there to make it continue...

my script has all my log-in info: {hostname, userid, password} but without clicking cancel it won't continue on it's own. what gives?

it's not a major problem when i'm at my computer. but the whole idea is to have this process be automated by "Script Timer" so without me here for that one dumb click, it's not going to follow through as i need it to. any ideas on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

found the answer myself...this always happens after i search then post but anyway it was all about this: unchecking "Show New Connection dialog at startup" in the Misc. section of Fetch Preferences
