I have used Fetch for a while and one day, when trying to launch the program, I received a message "The application Fetch has unexpectedly quit." I trashed the program and downloaded it again and I still get the message everytime I try to launch the program. (I'm using mac OS 10.2.8 on a G5). Thanks for any help!

I would remove the "Fetch Prefs", "Fetch Cache" and "Fetch Shortcuts" files from the Preferences folder in the Library folder in your Home folder. Then try running Fetch again. If that solves the problem, could you email the files you removed to bugs @ fetchsoftworks.com? We'd like to figure out why they caused a crash.

    Thanks,

I removed everything "Fetch" from my system, downloaded Fetch from the website again and had the same issue - Unexpectedly Quit.

That's surprising. Do you get a crash log? If so, could you email it to bugs @ fetchsoftworks.com?

    Thanks,

I have this same exact problem. I trashed fetch cache, prefs, ... Still not opening up. I did everything that Leight mentioned. I run 10.2.6 on a G4.

What's going on? This is a HUGE problem!

I've always been a big fan of Fetch, but this needs to be resolved. Anybody know of some good Mac options for FTP?

DB: Could you email the crash log to bugs @ fetchsoftworks.com? Have you tried deleting com.fetchsoftworks.Fetch.plist in addition to "Fetch Prefs", "Fetch Cache" and "Fetch Shortcuts'?

    Thanks,
