ASCII resue is unsafe ERROR (1 post)

    I'm not expert, All I'm trying to do is download my blog from my server to back it up and I got a error message that reads

    Check the fetch transcript window for more info. Server responded:"ASCII is unsafe, please delete the file first.

    I looked at the transcript window but have not idea what Im looking at. Also have no idea what ASCII is.

    Any help would be fantastic:)
