I would like to create a backup of my entire site on my computer before I make a major upgrade to the site in case things go wrong.

Is it as simple as selecting everything and clicking "get"?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Yes, it's just about that simple.

Note that when you use "Get," Fetch downloads all the files to the folder you have set as your download folder in the Download pane of the Fetch Preferences. By default this is the Desktop or Download folder.

Instead you may instead want to make sure that all your files go into their own folder, such as one named "My Site Backup" (or whatever you prefer). You can either change the "Save downloaded files to" setting in the Download pane of Fetch Preferences, or more simply, create a new folder on your Mac's Desktop and then drag all the files from the Fetch window to the new folder - which will download them to that folder.

Please let us know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,
