A coworker has used Fetch to upload some .tif and .jpg files to a shared drive from her Mac. The problem is that a .bin has been added to the file names: filename.tif.bin -- the files cannot be opened using an IBM -- I have used four different graphics software to open -- removing the .bin does not work.
Is there any way these can be converted or uploaded differently? Our Mac user is not a computer wizard as far as FTP etc -- I'm not a Mac wizard... any help would be great.

It sounds like the files were uploaded in MacBinary format. Instead they should be uploaded in Raw Data format.
