I use jEdit. Can I set it as the default editor. I only have a demo of BBEdit
Also, can Safari be added to the list of browsers to help?

    Thanks, Margaret

You can specify a different text editor to use in the Obscure Options pop-up menu in the Misc. section of Fetch Preferences. I'm not sure that jEdit supports the Apple Events that Fetch uses with BBEdit, Tex-Edit, and some others to edit remote files.

Thanks for the suggestion on using Fetch as a helper for Safari. I'll look into that.

    Thanks,

One other thing: if jEdit does not support remote editing, you might try the free BBEdit Lite which you can find at http://www.barebones.com.
