  macbookPro w/latest software (checked for newer on apple).
  [new mac user - former PC]
  downloaded
  dragged dmg image to applications folder
  "open with - disk image mounter - default
  Message-"The following disk images failed to mount"
  image - fetch_5.1.1.dmg
  Reason- not recognized

  What shall I do please?

  Hi,

  Here's what I would try:

  * Drag the Fetch.dmg disk image that you currently have to the Trash.
  * Restart the computer.
  * Download a new copy of the disk image from our website, http://fetchsoftworks.com .
  * Try opening the new one.

  Please let us know if that fixes the problem or not.
