Can not put..File or folder not found

Yesterday, I was not able to connect to the server at my college and I discovered from the IT guys that I had to delete the host key. I did that and noticed that I could then see all of the files in the server. I didn't to upload any files but today, when I attempted to upload a file, I received a message that states, "Fetch could not put "name of file" because a requested file or folder was not found on the SFTP server."

I don't know if this helps but I noticed the Fetch Transcript has this note, "SSH2_FX_NO_SUCH_FILE 27
ftp_store_setup: 2,24102 (state == RPUT_SETTING_UP)"

Any suggestions?
