Cannot connect to FTP server (2 posts)

  I've been using FETCH as my FTP for years. Today I'm getting an error message saying that the FTP cannot hold the connection. I've already upgraded to the new version. Can you help?

  Hi Denise,

  When you suddenly can't connect to a server that you have previously been able to connect to, and you haven't made any changes, this almost always means the server is experiencing problems.

  If you're still experiencing problems, you should contact the people who run the server to see if they are aware of any problems and verify the hostname, username, and password you are using to make sure that there hasn't been a change in the connection information.
