Every once in a while I get a directory that I am unable to delete from my web server. (I do not own the server so do not have direct access) When I try to delete the directory using Fetch 4.0.3, I get an error: "Server file error: dirname: Directory not empty", where dirname is some name of a directory within the current. I have tried going into the directories to delete the files within, but they are empty. Any suggestions? Right now I have to email the adminstrator to delete the files for me.

I'd try checking the "Send LIST -al to UNIX Servers" item in the Obscure Options pop-up menu in the Misc. section of Fetch Preferences. Some servers won't tell Fetch about hidden files without that option, and Fetch can only delete files the server tells it about.

    Thanks,

Thanks Jim! That did the trick.
