I just downloaded a trial version to sample some of the features not available on my current FTP programs. I've tried to connect to my site using the same FTP host, login, and password details as I do with the other programs I use for FTP (Dreamweaver and CuteFTP) and each time the dog just runs and runs. Finally I get an error message saying "Error: the server dropped the connection (it may be too busy.)". this can't be correct as I've tried connecting directly afterwards with Dreamweaver and CuteFTP and had no problems. Can someone please help me? It's driving me nuts.

    Thanks.

My guess is that you need to change the setting of the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox in the Firewall section of Preferences.

Let me know if that doesn't work,
