Can't enter proxy settings (2 posts)

    Hi,

I just downloaded Fetch to try out. I'm new to the Mac so I may be missing something, but I can't see where to enter the proxy settings.

When I run Fetch it immediately brings up the "new connection" dialog box, which I enter my ftp server's details into. It then says it can't connect because there is no proxy specified. Fair enough, but I can't see any proxy settings area, and when I click cancel it closes the whole program!!

    Please advise.

    Hi,

To set the proxy settings in Fetch, choose Preferences from the Fetch menu, and then click on the Proxy tab. Enter your proxy information; if you do not know what to enter, you'll have to contact your network administrator or help desk to learn the proper information to enter.

The proxy settings will apply to all future connections.

Then choose New Connection from the File menu to open a new connection.

Let us know if you have more questions. Thanks,
