Can't find URL Error 404 (12 posts)

  Help, my uploads to the web were working just fine yesterday and today I keep getting "the requested url was not found on this server. Additionally a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an errordocument to handle the the request.

  Any help will be appreciated.

  Hi,

  Could you:

  1) Connect to your server with Fetch
  2) Choose "Refresh" from the View menu
  3) Enter the "posh" folder
  4) Choose "Refresh" from the View menu again
  5) Choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents of that window?

  I've uploaded my files to fetch and I'm getting a 404 error. What do I need to do to upload my webfiles so I can view them from a browser?

  Hi Matt,

  What program are you using for creating your website?

  If you're using iWeb, you may want to try following the instructions in our using Fetch to upload websites created with iWeb help topic and see if that helps.

  You may also want to look over our solving problems with websites" help topic (in particular, the section titled "my website doesn't show up at all") and see if the advice there helps.

  If you're still having trouble after reading those, let us know and we'll try to help out.

  I get a msg saying error 404 can't find URL ? Plus my voice mail won't turn on why ? Help ! Also I get msg saying invalid email ?
