Quicksilver, OS 10.1.5, bags of RAM. Downloaded Fetch 4.0.2, seems to work but can't connect.

I have all the right TCP/IP settings for email and running the internet, but Fetch seems to tell me I have a problem.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Chers,

    Michel

The first thing I'd try is toggling the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences. If that doesn't work, post (or email to support@fetchsoftworks.com) the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you have the problem.

    Thanks,

Jim, here is the contents of the transcript window. The PASV thing didn't work... I had tried that and all other settings to get it to connect.

The same settings work perfectly on my 9600 on the same server.

Any help you can give gratefully received. I'm using the 15 day trialversion, by the way

I would try setting the "Proxy Type" setting in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences to "None". Does that help?

    Thanks,
