I put my site folder in the webroot folder and when I look through the browser my webpage is blank. My service provider requiers that my main page is "index.html" and it is. Does my web folder have to be named that too? I'm confused.

    Hi,

No, the folder does not need to be named "index.html".

index.html should be directly inside the webroot folder - it should not be in another folder that is inside webroot folder.

If all your website files are in a folder, do not put that folder inside of the webroot folder. Instead, you should take the contents of that folder, and put the contents in webroot. If there are subfolders in your website folder, that's okay - but take them out of the first folder that is holding all the website files.

    I hope this helps.
