I Can't upload a file becuase getting the message :

" Fetch could not put "Scene Hoodie 2.ai" because FTP server encountered an error accessing a file or folder.
If you entered a file name, folder name, or URL, check that it is correct. Server responded : Scene Hoodie 2 .ai : premission Denied "

It looks like I have some access problem and not able to upload becuase of security problem..

    Hi Scott,

It could be a permissions problem, but there is another possibility - it may be that the server you're trying to upload to doesn't like files with spaces in their name.

Many servers that don't support spaces in the filenames inexplicably give a "permission denied" error instead of telling you the real problem.

So, the first thing you should try is renaming your file to remove spaces from the name (you could use underscores to separate the words instead), and then try uploading it again.

Let us know if that fixes the problem or not. If it doesn't, we'll investigate further.

    Thanks,

This is the same problem that one of our clients is having when trying to upload to our FTP site. They have tried many naming formats, some with and some without spaces or special characters.

    Ideas?

    Hi CHG,

I assume other clients can upload without a problem to the same FTP site?

I would first check and make sure the client is trying to upload to the correct folder, and the folder's permissions do allow him to upload there.

If those two things appear to be correct, we'd need to see a Fetch Transcript to have a better guess of what's going on.

To do this, after the client tries to upload and gets an error, he should choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and send the contents to you (and you can paste them into a reply to this message), or the client could send the transcript to our support directly at:
