clear text error when trying to connect to server (2 posts)

  I'm trying to set up a new site (godaddy.com is my hosting site) but I get an error that says "sorry, cleartext sessions are not accepted on this server." I've used fetch for another site on godaddy before and there wasn't any problem. why is this happening? And how do i fix it?

  Hi,

  Do you see the error if you set the Connect using menu to "FTP with TLS/SSL" or "SFTP"?
