I have a client trying to access my FTP site (running on a Cobalt Cube3) and he cannot get in. He is on a Mac i-book (using Fetch 4 and Mac OS 9.1). Other clients can access my site using fetch.

I physically went to his location and checked his settings and made sure that he was set up with your suggestion of... "unchecking the "Use Internet Config" box in the General section of Preferences and checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Preferences."

He still cannot log in to my site, but can log into my competitors site. However, he can access my site through appleshare IP or even the internet (wants to use fetch though).

    I'm stumped...

Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after the client sees the problem? He can choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to reveal the transcript. Hopefully it will clarify what is going wrong.

    Thanks,
