Anyone have any luck connecting to Comcast personal web pages (upload.comcast.net)using any secure method? I've read comcast does not support SFTP but does support SSL. I've tried SSL by choosing FTP with TLS/SSL and setting the port to 990 as fetchsoftworks instructs, but no luck connecting - I time out. Connecting with FTP (insecure) works fine.

    Hi,

Unfortunately, despite what you may read in some places on the web, as far as we know Comcast does not support any sort of secure FTP connections to their servers. (I have researched this issue several times.)

If you have another hosting provider that supports secure connections, you can make a secure connection to it using your Comcast connection, but Comcast's FTP servers do not support secure connections.

    Thanks,
