I am trying to configure Fetch 4 (or 3.0.3) behind a Winproxy firewall. I can get a "connection" but never a file list.

I am the admin for Winproxy, but can't seem to make the pair work...

    Help!

You might ask the WinProxy people. From reading their site I get the impression that you should choose "None" from the proxy type popup menu, and uncheck the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box. Let me know if that does not work.

Using the "User w/ no login" I seem to get this far...

    331 Password required for playhouse.
    PASS
    230 User playhouse logged in.
    SYST
    215 UNIX Type: L8 Version: BSD-199506
    PWD
    257 "/mnt/web/guide/cgplayhouse" is current directory.
    MACB ENABLE
500 'MACB ENABLE': command not understood.
    PWD
    257 "/mnt/web/guide/cgplayhouse" is current directory.
    PWD
    257 "/mnt/web/guide/cgplayhouse" is current directory.
    PORT 63,216,125,195,248,234
    200 PORT command successful.
    LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.

At which point it just sits and sits...
Then hit the stop button in fetch.

    ABOR
    CStreamOT::Read() OTRcv() returned -3208
    226 Transfer complete.
    500 'BOR': command not understood.

But I'm not up on my server responses...

    Thanks.

How about checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box -- does that help?
