I am trying to switch to Fetch as my primary FTP client, (per my employers request). I purchased and downloaded 4.0.3. I have two ftp connections that I must access for work. (My old ftp client is the one built into Dreamweaver MX 6.0.)

Fetch succesfully connected to the new ftp Host. But when I attempt to input the Host, User ID, PASS for my old ftp Host (the one that is already configured in Dreamweaver): I receive "error on password". When I try to fill in new fields for HOST , USER and PASS, the fields keep reverting to an old default info from the old Dreamweaver account.

I am trying to figure out if Dreamweaver or my operating system is causing this.

Would you recommend deleting my ftp Hosts in Dreamweaver or re installing my system software. I am running OS10.3.5

    Thank you

Fetch does not read information from Dreamweaver; I definitely would not make changes in Dreamweaver or reinstall your system software.

When you open the New Connection dialog in Fetch is it already filled in with information? If so there must be a default shortcut set. You can change that by following these steps:

    1) Choose Preferences... from the Customize menu.
    2) Set the Default shortcut pop-up menu to "None".
    3) Click OK.

Please let me know if this helps.

    Thanks,
