I am having a problem connecting and transfering files to a ftp server. The server is a windows xp based application, "Qucik n Easy ftp". I get the error message "ftp server is shutting down".

Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    pk

Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you dismiss that error message? Hopefully that information will help clarify what is going wrong.

    Thanks,

You might try unchecking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" box in the Firewall section of Fetch Preferences. Does that help?

    Thanks,
