Connecting to FTP server inside the network (2 posts)

  When trying to connect to my FTP sever while i am inside the network, fetch returns this error message "An FTP connection to"server" could not be opened because the FTP server dropped the connection.

  Any suggestions on how to go around this or how to connect to my server from inside the network?

  I can connect when I am home ( outside) but when I come to work, I cannot get onto it.

  Hi,

  It could be that you need to connect to a different hostname when you are inside the network. I would talk to the server administrator for more information.
