    from germany. i see i have the same problem as others: error:the server dropped the connection(it may be to busy). Mac OS 9.2.1 with Fetch 4.0.1 via dsl. thanks

    I would suggest setting the Proxy Type in the Firewall section of Preferences to "None."

    I would also suggest upgrading to Fetch 4.0.2, which you can download from http://fetchsoftworks.com . It will accept the same serial numbers as Fetch 4.0.1 (so it's a free upgrade from 4.0.1).
