    Two suggested improvements:
    1. When Dashboard is displayed, the caption on the Fetch widget is the hostname. It should be the Name assigned to the shortcut. When using addon/subdomains, the hostname is the same for all. So I now see three widgets on my Dashboard that say the exact same thing - the hostname. Not using the Shortcut name means I have no way of telling which widget is which, except by memory of where I placed each one.
    2. When dropping files on the widget, you should be able to activate the Shortcut dropdown so that one widget can be used for multiple shortcuts. Now again, I need three widgets on my Dashboard to accommodate my three domains. But even if you had only one domain, with multiple folders that were accessed often, you would still need multiple widgets to represent multiple shortcuts.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Showing the shortcut name instead of the hostname on the widget is something we'd like to do in the future. And we'll consider the idea of having a way to activate different shortcuts on the same widget.

I don't know if this suggestion will be useful to you, and I realize that you may prefer the widget, but in the current version of Fetch you can also create droplet shortcuts - icons that you can drag your files to and have them uploaded. You can name the icons anything you like, solving the naming problem, anyway; you'd still need to have multiple droplet shortcuts. You can learn more about droplet shortcuts here:

    Thanks again for the suggestions.

    Thanks Scott for your response.
I saw the droplet option, but again felt it would introduce too much clutter. I would still need three icons on my Dock or wherever to handle my situation. As I expect to have additional domains overtime, this issue will compound overtime. I assume I'm not the only one needing FTP access in this way, so I'll be patient for future releases which will probably address this at some point.
    Thanks again

    Hi,

    You're welcome.

Another option is that you can just drag files to the folder icons for shortcuts in the shortcuts window. Of course, that requires you to have the Fetch Shortcuts window showing all the time, which is just a different kind of clutter. (This is what I do, but as you might guess, I have Fetch running most of the time anyway...)

I'm sorry we don't have a more compact solution for you at this time, but we will keep this issue in mind for future versions.

    Thanks,
