When connecting to an ftp server (windows 2000), only the current directory shows in the directory navigation pulldown. Result is users cannot navigate directory structure from the pulldown. Other utilities (e.g. Transmit) do not have this symptom when hitting the same server.

Is this a Fetch display issue or a server configuration issue?

    Thanks,

    Ron

Could you post or send me the contents of the Fetch Transcript window when you see this situation?

    Thanks,

    Jim,

Thanks. Here it is (Active mode). Passive mode looked the same and exhibited the same behavior. To reiterate, you can change directories and view the files, as the transcript shows, but ONLY the CWD displays in the Fetch pulldown, no parent directories.

So when you are in /Cut Sheets/1 it shows "1" but no "Cut Sheets" or "/"?

    Thanks,

    Jim,

    Yes, that's exactly what occurs.

    Jim,

To be clear the menu has the text string "/Cut Sheets/1", but that is the only entry, "/Cut Sheets" and "/" are not displayed.

Thanks. I've entered that in our bug database, and will try to fix it in the next release. The problem is that Fetch expects the server to be using a different style of path name.

You can navigate to the parent directory by typing cmd-up-arrow or choosing it from the Directories menu.

    Thanks,
