To preface: I am a newbie to FTP...I may merely be uninformed...

I am downloading an .img MacBinaryII file. (An image of a CD). The download goes well; I can see the file on my desktop the whole time...then, after completion (Or in this case, it was only a few hundred bytes incomplete, but it isn't listed in the resume downloads options) it disappears. I KNOW I have it, I can tell by the amount of space left on my HD. I can't find it though...even Sherlock is incapable. This is very frustrating, as I really don't want to re-dl it...I think I did have the file after the completion, but it was only a document, it didn't become a disk img after it finished downloading.

So...is this a familiar problem, and is there something I'm overlooking in the help file, or what? Help will be very appreciated...:)

That is pretty mysterious. Did you get an error message when the download completed?

Fetch 3.0.3 will hide a partially downloaded file (although even then Sherlock should find it), but 4.0b6 will leave it visible. So if you do decide to download again, I'd recommend trying 4.0b6.
