I've reviewed several messages here that have had the same problem, so I have downloaded Fetch 4.0.2 and attached the Fetch Transcripts for it and the 3.0.3 version below.

I should also mention that I have this problem with 1 other server I work with, yet I can connect fine to several others.

    I'd appreciate any help!!
    Thanks

Can you connect to this server with any other FTP client? I wonder if there's a problem with your account on the server, causing the server to hang as soon as you login.

    Thanks,

I have not tried another ftp client except for trying it thru my browser. No luck.

The guy from the server host says he has no trouble connecting to my account & has been trying to help me figure this out also.

I'm pretty sure I have the correct settings on my computer, as well. He had me delete my preferences & try again -- that didn't help.

I don't have much more hair to pull out!!

I'd be happy to try with other clients, but I don't like asking customers for their account passwords.

Could the server admin send me a transcript of a successful login to your account?

    Thanks,

Joel from Host Solutions said he emailed the Transcripts to you. Did you receive? (I'm trying to connect to ftp.fillerup.net.)

Yes, I got the transcripts. I'm afraid I'm stumped -- I don't see any reason why it would drop connections from your computer and allow them from others. It isn't a Fetch issue, since Fetch works for Joel. My best guess is that either you are entering a different password or the server is blocking access to your account from certain addresses, but Joel tells me the latter isn't the case.

I am sorry I can't be more helpful.
