A person here would like to download an entire directory from our mainframe (IBM ZOS).
When I try it I get a message that says retrieval of an entire PDS is not supported. Use MGET for this purpose.

    So, witw is MGET? ;-)

Well, I did a man ftp mget and found out what it is. Also found out how it is implemented in the Zos FTP server. It requires every member name to be specified.

That gave me an idea, so I went back to Fetch and found I could select multiple members with the shift key, and it would prompt me for a location to DL them. (New Folder sounds like a good option!). So I think I figured it out after all.

The only real suggestion I have for FETCH would be the possibility of two windows - source and destination. It would be easier to understand and navigate.
    Thanks :-)

mget is a command in some command-line FTP clients for retrieving a bunch of files.

You might try selecting all the files in the directory and pressing the Get button; does that work?
