error -20002 (3 posts)

    Well, this never used to happen but suddenly any time I try to connect to our server through Fetch 3.0.3, I get an error -20002. The window console doesn't offer much, but here is what comes up before it errors out:

    220-Cyber-Storage FTP service
    WarFTPd 1.80.05 (Dec 7 2000) Ready
    (C)opyright 1996 - 2000 by Jarle (jgaa) Aase - all rights reserved.
    220 Please enter your user name.

    Anybody know what's wrong? Thanks!

    Fetch 3.0.3 reports that error when the server sends it a line of text that's longer than 255 characters. That limitation is fixed in Fetch 4.0, which can be downloaded from http://fetchsoftworks.com .
