    Hi,
I've just set up a windows 2000 Ftp Server, and installed Fetch over a Mac OS 8.6.
If i try to make a connection to the Ftp Server by using a windows 2000 administrator user the ftp software run correctly, if i use a normal user to connect to the ftp site i retrieve an error -3168 : this occour during browsing.

    Regards
    Rino

Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu in Fetch (after dismissing the error message and clicking Cancel in the New Connection dialog) and post the contents? That may shed light on the source of the problem.

    Thanks,

If that is the complete transcript you must not be running Fetch 4.0.3. I would recommend downloading 4.0.3 from http://fetchsoftworks.com

If you get the same error with Fetch 4.0.3 I would try changing the setting of the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox in the Firewall section of Preferences.

    Thanks,
