if i try to stop the connection FETCH quits.

    Hi,

First, make sure you are running Fetch 5.0.5. If the first line of the Transcript window doesn't say Fetch 5.0.5, you are still running your old version. You can download Fetch 5.0.5 again from our webpage at http://fetchsoftworks.com , and reinstall it. (You do not need to pay again for Fetch 5.)

If the transcript window still says Fetch 4.0.1, let us know.

Next, make sure you are using these settings in the Fetch Preferences:

    * In the General pane, "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" is checked.
    * In the Proxy pane, the Proxy Type is "None"
    * In the Obscure pane, "Contact server during long transfers" is unchecked.

And then try to connect to the servers again.

If this does not help, please let us know and we'll investigate further.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
