Error: File transfer server has shut down (2 posts)

    Can anyone explain why I am receiving this error message and how to fix it? I recently loaded Fetch 4.0.3 on my Mac laptop (same version I was using on my previous Mac and it worked fine) and am now unable to FTP files. I keep receiving the error message "the file transfer server has shut down". I have had the person I am trying to FTP check their equipment and it is working fine.

    Could you choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu and post the contents after you dismiss the error message and New Connection window? That will show where Fetch is trying to connect.
