    howdy
    first time poster here.
    i just hooked up a new g4 with 9.1. i downloaded fetch 4 and when i go to a attempted to connect to a server i get this message

    error-the type of proxy server you have specified requires more information. the information can be entered in preferences (on osx), the internet control panel on (os8 and 9), or internet configuration.

    never got the message when i ran the last version....also, i had to have the cable modem company get me back online when i switched to this new mac yesterday.....not sure if this is helpul.

    In all likelyhood you don't need to use a proxy server, and Fetch is getting the notion that you do from Internet Config. One workaround is to choose "Preferences" from the Customize menu, uncheck the "Use Internet Config" box. You might also need to go to the Firewall section of Preferences and choose "None" from the pop-up menu.
