I receive this error message when trying to connect: Error on user ID: Already logged in.

I am running Fetch 4.0 on Mac OS 9.1. I have been using the same Fetch on this same machine with the same host, userID, and login for over a year. Now that I am back to school after summer break, I this problem. I have talked to the host server administrator and he says there has been no change. I also am able to login successfully to the same host from other computers on the same OS with the same version of Fetch located in other buildings in the district.

My school does have a Novell Border Manager firewall, but I am supposedly running in front of it so that I can perform uploads. My local network administrator says that there have been no changes in network software either.

I checked the FTP transcript which reads:
    Connecting to remc11.k12.mi.us port 21 (8/28/03 3:02:12 PM)
    220 server.remc11.k12.mi.us FTP server ready.

    ADAT

    Hope you can help.

Try choosing "Preferences..." from the Customize menu, clicking on the "Firewall" tab, and setting the "Proxy Type" pop-up menu to "None". Does that fix the problem?
