    Hi,

A Posix error usually indicates some sort of network problem, either on your network or with the server. This may be a temporary problem.

It looks like the correct address to enter in the Hostname field is "perso-ftp.orange.fr" not "perso.orange.fr". I tested it and it appears to be accepting connections.

Could you please try connecting to perso-ftp.orange.fr again, and see if you are still having a problem?

If you get a POSIX error again, please do the following:

After you try to connect and you get the error message, please choose Fetch Transcript from the Window menu, copy the entire contents of the transcript window, and paste them into a reply to this message.

We'll take a look and try to figure out what's going on.

    Thanks,

    Scott McGuire
