    error: the server dropped the connection (it may be too busy)

    I'm using Fetch 4.0.2.
    a 500mhz iBook, running OS X .1.4
    I'm trying to connect to homepages.demon.co.uk and I get the above message, I get the same message when trying to connect to any of the shortcuts.

    I've followed the instructions for connecting provided by demon, and have 'pinged' the server, it exists.

    can anyone help me?

    Could you post the contents of the Fetch Transcript window after you get the error -- choose "Fetch Transcript" from the Window menu to reveal it.
