    Hi<

I'm having an odd problem. I get this error meesage on one file, but not another. They are both html files, named similarly, uploaded the same way, yet one reveives the error message while the other does not:

    Here's the transcript:

    PASV
    227 Entering Passive Mode (65,121,176,19,226,87)
    STOR M335.html
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for 'M335.html'.
    226 Transfer complete.
Upload complete at 6/16/02 10:59:05 PM
    PASV
    227 Entering Passive Mode (65,121,176,19,226,88)
    STOR M321.html
    553 M321.html: Permission denied.
    ftp_store_setup: -30008 (state == RPUT_SETTING_UP)
    ABOR
    225 ABOR command successful.

I've been using Fetch without a hitch for a while. This is the first time I've seen this behaviour.

Any help you can offer would be apprecited.

Is there already a file named M321.html? If so try deleting it before uploading the new copy.

My other guess would be that there's a hidden character in the M321.html file name (servers sometimes say "permission denied" when the problem is an unsupported file name character). To test that theory you'd rename it to something innocuous (such as abc.html) and then try uploading.

Let me know if it isn't either of these problems,
