    I want to write a applescript for synchronize a local folder and a hd folder.

    Do you have a valid example ?

    The best way to do this is to have Fetch write the script for you. Press the Record button in the Script Editor and then use the Mirror Folder... command in Fetch to synchronize the folders. Then you can go back to Script Editor to tweak and save the recorded script.
