    Jim,

    I was hoping you could provide some guidance in troubleshooting an
    ongoing FTP problem.

    I often get disconnected or encounter errors when connecting to my WebSTAR
    web servers. The most common fetch error is "Open Transport Error number
    -3155" even though Open Transport calls are disabled in Fetch's preferences.

    I have the problem more under Fetch 4 than previous versions, but it's
    happened in the older version, as well. I seem to have more trouble
    connecting to my WebSTAR servers than my BSD servers.

    The problems occur both under Mac OS 9.0-9.1 and Mac OS X PB.

    Thoughts? Where should I start?

    I'd have to look at a transcript to be sure, but it sounds like the error may be coming from WebStar. Do you see the error message in the Fetch Transcript window (which you can open from the Windows menu)?
