I created my sites with IWeb. Had a hard drive crash and lost everything. My sites are still stored in Fetch. I'm looking for new website building software that will let me load the Fetch files, so I can work on them (Iweb will not let you
"re-import" files created in Iweb, but stored in Fetch.
Any ideas? It would be a ton of work to start from scratch.
I'm using Mac OS 10.6.3, and the sites are still up and running online

As far as we know, if you've lost your original iWeb files, there isn't a good way to continue working with the existing website files. This is a limitation of iWeb and how it creates webpages, not of Fetch.
As you may have already learned, when you create webiste in iWeb, it stores the website in a special iWeb-only format and file. When you publish the site to a folder so that you can upload it using Fetch, iWeb exports the files as normal HTML and image files, etc. - but iWeb does not know how to change those published files back into the special iWeb format, so you cannot take those files and edit them in iWeb anymore. You need the original special iWeb format file to continue working on the website in iWeb.
And unfortunately, even the files that iWeb exported are full of special iWeb-designed code that makes it difficult for other website design programs to understand. An advanced website design program, such as Dreamweaver, might let you import and continue to work on your existing website files, although we have not tried that and I don't know if it would actually work. But probably it wouldn't work well, and continuing to work with the files would be difficult at best.
If you haven't already, you may want to ask this question on the Apple iWeb discussion forum at:
Sorry not to have a better answer for you.
