I just upgraded to 10.9.5 Mavericks on the Mac. Now everytime I try to PUT a file into my directory(s) when I click PUT the window opens to the main directory, and I have to scroll and click all the way through folders to get to the same file that I just uploaded. This is tedious. It always opened to the last folder I PUT a file from. I cannot find a preference for this. Any thoughts?

    Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. We've gotten a number of reports of this problem from people who upgraded to Mavericks. It seems like it might be a bug in that release (that window is controlled by OS X).

Here's something to try. The "pick a file" window can show files in a number of different views, such as icon view, list view, column view and "cover flow" view. You can switch between different views by clicking the corresponding button.

The next time you upload a file, try switching the view to a different one (e.g. from column view to list view), and then back to whatever view you prefer.

Does the system remember that folder the next time you go to upload?

    Thanks,

    Jim Matthews
