We recently upgraded to Mac OSX 10.3 and upgrade to Fetch 5.0 as well. I purchased 4 licenses at the time I upgraded and 3 of the 4 are working great. I have one work station that when the operator launches Fetch it just shuts back down. I tried putting new preferences in the preference folder and it still didn't work. I reinstalled the software and still no luck. Can you give me any other suggestions? Thanks for your help.

I would download a copy of Fetch 5.0.1 from http://fetchsoftworks.com. It fixes a number of problems where 5.0 would crash during launch because of unexpected Fetch 4 preference settings.

    Thanks,

When I first started school I got fetch. I've had fetch for a while now and I truly love it. I recently upgraded to Tiger OSX (a birthday gift) and I still had Fetch 4.03 on my system when I upgraded. Then I saw fetch Upgraded itself to 5.0.1, so I downloaded it.
NOW HERES THE PROBLEM when I tried to start Fetch(run Fetch) for the first time it just quits. No questions asked. I tried it again, again, and again. Restarted my mac and everything. I have no clue as to how to fix it. Do you have a clue?
    SECOND
What files in my mac do I need to delete in order to uninstall fetch 4.03? I thought I deleted all the necessary files associated with fetch but there might be files in my mac that I don't know exist.
I ask this because I believe this maybe the reason why Fetch 5.0.1 won't work.
Thank You for your time and help...

The first thing I'd try is reinstalling StuffIt Expander (or whatever StuffIt product you had installed before upgrading to Tiger). You can get StuffIt updaters from http://www.stuffit.com.

If you still see crashes could you email the crash log to bugs at fetchsoftworks dot com? You can find the crash log in the Library > Logs > CrashReporter folder in your home folder.

    Thanks,
