Fetch is slow with Apple Airport (4 posts)

    I just got an Airport base station (Extreme) and now Fetch 4.0.3 is slow to upload files. It hangs for several seconds at the end of each upload. I have the PSAV checkbox checked on both Fetch and Airport.

    Anyone have any suggestions? There is nothing on Apple's support boards. Thanks.

    Do you see the delay when you connect your Mac directly to Ethernet? Could you upload the same large file using Airport and using a direct connection, to compare the overall transfer rate?

    Thanks for the response. When I use a direct Ethernet connection, Fetch doesn't hang... only with the Airport.

    Could you try uploading a large file and comparing the overall transfer rates?
