Fetch slower on OSX? (2 posts)

    I frequently switch between OS9 and OSX and have noticed that Fetch 4.0 seems slower in OSX. Using the FTP server on our LAN, I routinely approach 1MB/s in OS9, but the same files will slow to 1/3 to 1/2 of max when pulling in OSX. I am using standard OSX config and am running build 4Q12.

    There's no question that Fetch could be faster on OS X. My first goals for an OS X release were reliability and functionality. My next goals include performance.
