Fetch stalling at end of 60MB upload (3 posts)

    Hi,

I've been recently having problems uploading large (60MB) .wav files. (I am a musician and am sending music files to a mastering engineer). Lately Fetch has been stalling as soon as there is 0.0 MB left to upload. I have to stop the download, and refresh to complete the transfer. This is tolerable when uploading one file, but not several, as I commonly do.

Transferring a 10 MB completes with no problems (tried it twice). Any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Kirk

This problem usually results from being behind a NAT device (such as a router or being connected through a wireless network). The transfer has really finished, but the NAT device blocks the information from the server telling Fetch that it's done.

    To solve this problem:

If you are using Fetch 4, try checking the "Use passive mode transfers (PASV)" checkbox in the Firewall section of the Fetch Preferences.

If you are using Fetch 5, try checking the "Contact server during long transfers" preference in the Obscure pane of the Fetch Preferences.

    Thanks,
